I have a couple suggestions:
First, this board is very disorganized. Boards should be divided into categories and ordered in a more professional way. In addition, having a General Chat board and an Other board is completely unnecessary considering they are both the same.
Site information, rules, and suggestion boards should be at the top of the forums to catch member attention, and not tucked in the middle. In addition, instructions and information about specific boards or the entire message board should be stickied. This will allow all members to be able to easily find important information. Any administrator announcement or important thread should use complete sentences, and should be checked for proper spelling and grammar. This will make the board seem better kept, and will give the appearance that the administrator knows what she is doing.
Also, I would suggest you add affiliations. This concept is simple, and allows online communities to support each other. Simply discuss affiliation with other boards. The general proposal is as so: you will post a link to another website or message board in a noticeable, designated "Affiliation" section in exchange for your own board's link posted on their site. I will be more than glad to consider affiliation with my newest Christian Chat board, The Sufficient Grace Forums, upon the opening of the site.
